Children’s grants land on Monday the 6th rather than the usual third payment day because the 4th and 5th fall on a weekend, and SASSA doesn’t pay over weekends — so it just rolls to the next working day, not a delay.

If you’re still using the old SASSA Gold Card, it’s being phased out — you need to switch to the Postbank Black Card before 31 August 2026
